We just wanted to reassure our guests that The Cricketers is very much open for business as usual, even though Downside Common Road will be closed at certain times over the coming days.

While the roadworks may cause a slight detour, rest assured there’s still access to the pub and a warm welcome waiting when you arrive!

Road Closure Details:

The following temporary closures will be in place:

• Thursday 24th July – Sunday 28th July:
  9:30am – 4:00pm daily
• Wednesday 30th July – Wednesday 6th August:
  9:30am – 3:00pm daily
• Wednesday 6th August – Friday 8th August:
  8:00pm – 6:00am overnight

We completely understand that this closure is frustrating, but we promise we’re open as usual here at The Cricketers – whether you’re joining us for lunch in the courtyard, a deliciously seasonal dinner, or a quiet pint.
