Kids Eat Tea for Free!
Join us for an offer which is tested by kids and approved by parents. Kids eat for free from 3-6PM, Monday to Saturday, from 15th July to 4th September.
When an adult orders two courses from the ALC (including a main), your little ones get a two-course meal on the house. Now that’s a deal worth shouting about!
Lunch Club
Our seasonal Lunch Club is served Monday to Friday from 12-5pm – enjoy 2 courses for £18.50 and 3 courses for £23.50. For more information on the tasty offering click here.
And wait, there’s more… any guests who dine from the Lunch Club menu in July will also receive a complimentary glass of Mirabeau Rosé Spritz alongside their lunches… how berry delightful!
Downside Dog Walk
Starting on Saturday 3rd August, join us every first Saturday of the month at our pub from 10am for a Downside Dog Walk around Downside Common organised by our team here at the Cricketers. Arrive promptly for 10am to receive your complimentary tea or coffee before we all go off for a romp to stretch our legs and paws! No need to book but call ahead so we can keep an eye on numbers. See you then!
Falconry Experience
Join us on Sunday August 25th from 11am to 12pm for a free Falconry Experience with Hawks on The Wild Side. Get ready to wing it with these magnificent birds of prey!

Super Saturday’s
Have you heard? Kids eat tea for free throughout the summer holidays!* But that’s not all – don your capes and crowns for our Super Saturdays! From 20th July to 4th September, your little superheroes, princes, and princesses can earn a medal for dressing up in their best costumes every Saturday.
National Scotch Egg Day
This National Scotch Egg Day on July 27th, scramble over to our egg-ceptional Scotch Egg decorating competition! Who can craft the most egg-squisite Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head? Join the fun for just £6.95 per egg, and we’ll shell out the supplies for free!

Quiz night
Join us for our weekly quiz night every Tuesday at 7pm and be in with a chance to be crowned the King or Queen of our quiz night! All teams will receive a complimentary bar snack to fuel the mind. See you then!
Sunday – The day of Sunday Roasts and ours are legendary!
Unlimited Yorkshires, roast potatoes and gravy. With every main ordered, add a starter and/or dessert for only £6 each.
Roasts are served until 5pm.
Complimentary bottle of wine with steak.
